About me
I studied Social Work in Patras and then returned to Athens to train as a Drama Therapist in the four-year Drama Therapy program at the Aion Institute. From the early years of my studies, I participated in internships in mental health facilities, daycare centers, programs for the elderly, and municipal support services for vulnerable social groups.
As a mental health professional, I have worked in mental health facilities, day care centers, residential facilities for minors, and public secondary schools. In particular, as a drama therapist, I work with children and adolescents with both developmental difficulties and typical development, providing individual and group sessions, parent counseling, and family sessions. At the same time, I provide psychotherapy for adults.
Since 2019, I have been a co-founder and clinical director of a special therapies center in the center of Athens, offering personalized psychosocial and psychotherapeutic services. I have over 10 years of experience in the field of mental health as a social worker and as an arts psychotherapist, supporting vulnerable populations, children, adolescents, and adults with developmental or psycho-emotional difficulties.
I continuously seek out international seminars and training programs to further integrate the arts into the therapeutic process. On a personal level, I am involved in amateur theater and have recently begun exploring the world of music.
